Just wondered if anyone knows of a bouncy chair for older babies? Jack loves his bouncy chair and bounces himself for ages whilst sitting on top of the kitchen table watching me do stuff (it's tied to the radiator now so it can't go anywhere - it started moving gradually as he got bigger and with his energetic bounces). He's nearly 6 months and it would probably last him longer if he wasn't so long - he's around the 91st centile for length. The one we've got now is just a simple one that cost £20 and it's one of our better purchases and would just like to know if there's one for longer children. I've googled but can't see anything.
I know as he gets older he won't be as interested in sitting in it and bouncing but I think he will for a couple of months yet. He much prefers it to a bumbo seat as he likes kicking and don't think he will sit as happily when he goes into a highchair out the kitchen
I have the fisher price rocker mentioned in another reply it's blue with animals on it and came from Argos think it was just over £40 but worth every penny! I wish I had bought this instead of the mamas and papas I originally bought it's much more sturdy, wipes clean and I can feed him his porrige in the morning in it no probs. It does until 3 years Hope this helps x
