Hi

I need help - I've been struck by the need to bake cakes! It started in May when I made my little ones' birthday cake, but I can't stop.

I see an expanding waistline in my near future... :oops:

Helena, our eldest, has gone cupcake mad recently and churns out batches of them at least twice a week. I envisage at least one extra dress size too before she goes back to Uni. :)

I'm at uni, so it's probably something to do with that!

I've tried low fat recipes, but they are just not the same. I've resorted to giving them as gifts

I had a bug for it when I stopped BF which started when I decorated our Christmas cake a couple of months beforehand. I made at least 24 per week as I loved to decorate them in lots of different wasy. I bought all sorts of piping accessories, food colouring pastes and all sorts. It was madness, but they tasted SOOOOOO good!

I just can't stop!
I made two birthday cakes for Darwyn's 3rd birthday - a Mr Dinosaur (George Pig reference!) and a pirate ship. Now I just find any excuse for baking and decorating cakes. I have bought all the piping stuff and different decorations. My hubby finds it hilarious, though we are both supposed to be on a diet!

When I can't get out of the house because of my huge belly, I will have to stop (unless I start to order shopping online!) Hahaha x

Yum cake! I've just made a banana & lime cake & it is lush! Having it now with a cheeky glass of wine!
If anyone makes too many feel free to send them my way! This is the first cake I've made in aaagesssss!!!
