Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument? Did you learn as a child, and have now forgotton how, or do you still remember? Or have you decided to recently learn how to play something?
All I learned to play at school was (don't laugh) the recorder. And I can still play the Grand Old Duke of York on it, but that's all!
What are your musical skills like?

Nothing here - in fact used to get told to spend music lessons in the library at high school  Then as had gap in my timetable was forced to take drum module. I never actually passed the module as couldn't even do the basic rhythm
Sis played the flute and was quite good at it - although hearing memories on the flute every night became a little tedious. She gave it up when she left high school.
xx

I actually really miss my flute & would love to play it again but its tucked away in Mums attic somewhere so I need to hunt it out.

I did!

I loved music at school and did A level music and then a music degree!
I played flute, clarinet, saxophone and piano.
I did recorder at primary school too.

I can still play flute, sax and clarinet but piano is rubbish.
Would love Lauren and Eva to learn an instrument too.

Me too!

I used to play the clarinet and flute when younger, after I learnt to play the recorder. I doubt I'd be able to play either now.

I always wanted to learn to play the piano, but was never allowed to.

I started taking classical singing lessons every week a few months ago, and so now I play my voice as an instrument. I learnt to play the keyboard and sight read to help my singing, and my keyboard and sight reading skills are quite good now considering I'm self-taught. Both have helped my pitching massively!

Geoff's the musical guru in this household though! He played the piano up to Grade 8, and has a very musical brain, perfect pitch, and a rediculous ear for it. I just sing and am grasping a better sense of musicality! :D However, I am happy to say that I can now sing perfectly in French! :D
