We have never been on holiday before, so what item(s) should we not forget, that does not stand out as being obvious?
My children are 8 yrs, 7 yrs, 5 yrs and 13 months by the time we go on holiday.

Sorry, silly me. It's a holiday to the south of France, and we are just going for one week, flying over, so also need to pack light.

Whenever I go anywhere I always pack snacks that he kids have at home especially bars, raisens and that type of thing. I would suggest that each of the children (except Jack!) have a little rucksack or similar to carry onto the plane each, with stuff to keep them occupied. For Jack make sure you have change of clothes in your bag. Dylan still wets occassionally if he falls asleep (he has meds for this) and we got caught on flight home from spain as I didnt have spare trousers and it was a night flight and he wet.

I always take the milk that you need so that it is the same brand.

plenty of towels, again I always make sure I have a blanket that Erin is used too, especially for in the evenings if out in the buggy as they may go to sleep.

umm i'll keep thinking and add to list!

In this section Travel and Holidays there are loads of useful articles about ......

Packing for a Holiday With A Baby

Flying With A Baby

Keeping Children Entertained On Flights

and plenty of other useful bits and bobs.

Take a look at the section Audrey as it could be useful.

I used to do exactly what Emma does too and each child has their own 'backpack' or whatever with little things to keep then entertained.

Change of top for you too in case someone's sick on you!! :? Happened to me more than once! :(
