i am absolutley fuming
i ordered some stuff from tesco direct on thurday was told will be delivered friday anyway yesterday at 6pm call to see were it was they said a slight delay and to call in the morning so i called they said it would be delivered today so just called as still no sign and they said been left at number 12 they have signature
goes to number 12 no not there go to grove opposite ours no not there
so were has my order gone
called back to be told thay can reorder stuff but money will come out of my account straight away and the money for missing stuff will take 5 working days but also some of the stuff as reduced has gone out of stock
i am so annoyed i have raised a complaint with them as i said its taking money out of peoples accounts and the delivery driver is just leaving were he feels like certainly not anywere near address supposed to wonder were they have gone mmmmmmm
i am so so mad about this as have wasted 2 days waiting for delivery to be told its gone and nothing can be done surley with the uk in such a way it is companies going into liquidation by the minutes tesco's can not afford to be giving stock away

i have asked them to find out were my items have been delivered to so they have agreed to interview delivery driver and let me know the outcome

That's disgusting. I'd be fuming as well. Hope you manage to find out what happened to it. It's typical as well that they'll take money straight away but not be that quick to refund

They'll refund the money Hon, but you'll have to kick up a RIGHT stink and probably threaten to get Trading Standards involved as leverage. I used to work as a Retail Manager, and any company would much rather refund the money owed to you than have to deal with the law and pay the subsequent costs of it. If you paid by credit card, the c/c company may be able to claim the money back for you. Either process though, could take weeks, if not months.

Unfortunately, Tescos are a multi-billion pound company, so they couldn't care less! In fact they are renowned for their appalling services, and still rake in the money as people will always want cheap food. Tesco are just sh#te.

We normally order stuff and collect in store from Tesco direct. At least it is where it should be -cos I frankly dont trust me neighbours to return anything delivered to them for me.

The refunding in 5 working days has nothing to do with Tesco, that's the banks that are to blame for that one. Peter is forever telling people it's not M&S's fault that it takes so long for money to go back onto their account.
But, in my opinion, Tesco should send out the stuff without charging you again, then they can just pay back the difference if stuff is out of stock.
If stuff was left with someone else, then a card or something should have been put through your door, which means, if the delivery driver is telling the truth, someone somewhere has some free stuff. Thing is the driver isn't going to flippin' remember one order from the flippin' next so I doubt he'll remember where the number friggin' 12 was!

I have had so much trouble with Tesco not having things in stock that I will never even look at their catalogue again. They are so cocky its untrue!!

ive had same with argos twice who use same courier as tesco direct. they interviewd my driver and their outcome was: any future orders i place with them or by my associates will be cancelled i can no longer order from them


the one at xmas was my tree and decs didnt turn up twice and when i rang they said it was delivered and signed for we waited in ALL day. so we tried next door, over the road, number 1 and number 10 on all the 3 streets near us


last week an item was apprently left in my garden but it wasnt and again i was home all day
