It's a moment I dread! I'm doing my best to reduce it by progressively encasing the garden in stone and concrete, but I hate mowing the blo**y grass.

This week has seen the lawn sprout a variety of colours in its weed selection and it now comes to way above the ankles, so it must be nearly time to dust the cobwebs out of the lawnmower again.

I once read in a fairytale book that there are some men out there who enjoy mowing the lawn. Rubbish, I say! Surely no man can enjoy mowing the lawn! It's like finding a woman who enjoys Pink Floyd and Genesis.

I certainly hope there are no members on this site who enjoy mowing their lawns. If there are I'll have them banned! [smilie=1eye.gif]

We have a wee man cut our grass for us. He is an ex fire-fighter and that is his work now  Saves us doing it hehehehehe. Neil prob hates it as much as you Nigel, and with my hayfever I struggle to do it.

We are in a new build house, and our 'garden' is full of big stones and even bigger weeds! OH says it will be ages before we get the garden done nice. We have to get inside the house sorted out first, and we still have no interior doors in our house. We are getting there though.
