We usually have a wreath on the front door and a big artificial tree in the lounge. Then the kids make paper decs like paper chains and snowflakes etc which we decorate the hallway with. Sometime we have some tinsel round the mirror too. not grotto like but seasonal We dont have lights outside the house at all, just a santa stop here sign
if i had my own way last year we would have had a tiny 2ft flimsy tree in the window but my husband made have more lol so now we have got a reasonable sized tree and some extra decos- wreath, tinsel etc.. im a bit of a scrooge to be honest but now our little girl is one im hoping im going to start getting excited again for her

I tend to have our tree in the corner of the living room & a few garlands, wreaths etc, but the rest of the house gets left out.... so I told Ste that I am getting a tree in the dining room this year cos when we're eating Christmas dinner it's all a bit bare & depressing!
