A fantastic company...Jack snapped his DS as he was jelous Ryan had a new red one. Anyway I googled ds repairs and found consoledoctor.

All I had to do was click the repair I wanted, which was a replacement hinge, as long as its not competely snapped off or this costs more.

So that will be £29.99 and then all you do is wrap your ds in bubble wrap and stick in post office and send special delivery.

I posted this about 1pm Wednesday and got a phone call on Friday morning explaining that they had no green hinges left in stock and struggling to get any and it could be months :(

The man then went on to explain I had 2 options have any hinge in any colour or a new case and seen as it was their fault at having no hinges the repair would still be done at the price quoted :)

I picked red and once off the phone I was confused lol, did it mean Jacks ds would now be green on the bottom with a red lid? or a whole new red case with green buttons.

Later that day I checked online and status was repaired and awaiting payment. So I paid with paypal and that was that.

9am the next morning the postie delivered the ds back and OMG how fab its like brand new straight out the box :D

Cant recommend this company enough and fingers crossed no more broken DS`s but if we do I know where I will be sending them :D

Being someone that used to work in retail, that makes me smile. It's VERY rare to get such high standards of service these days. x
