Tbh, I just bought the cheapest buggy I could find. I wanted it to be able to lie back a bit but that was it, so I bought one off Ebay for £15. I didn't want to spend a lot in case it got broken or lost in the luggage. I've still got it now & makes a fab buggy to travel with as it folds thin & is light too. I just took a parasol in my suitcase to shade him from the sun :)

HUNNIE, I HAVE WHATS PRETTY MUCH CALLED A PRAM ADDICTION LOL whoops sorry caps on
i have been going abroad with my kids for years and years and always use a maclaren and thought they were great until 3 yrs ago when i had a try with a baby jogger city mini and i have to say, nothing compares when travelling.

lightweight and easy to push

unique one hand fold and folds small and flat

great recline with mesh breathable bit at the head

huge hood which completely covers your childs uppper body and face from the sun, no need for a parasol etc

great basket underneath for beach items etc.

really couldnt recomend these enough.
the only thing i would suggest is that maybe you would need a liner for the seat but no absolutely nessesary, im just fussy when it comes to comfort.
heres is a fab clip from youtube for you to watch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgVuzEwho5U

they dont come cheaply though hunnie but they do come up on ebay.
please be aware though, make sure its the baby jogger city mini and not the mini micro as these are much smaller and the hood etc isnt just as big.
Hope this helps xxxxx

You've probably got a pram now but have you thought about freecycle? When we took DD at 3 months to south africa I got everything from freecycle so I could leave it in South Africa. What I then did was since we were in Cape Town, joined Freecycle in Cape Town and freecycled the lot in Cape Town the night before we flew out. It was great all the items went to a lovely lady who was living in one of the shanty towns, who was working for a pittance and could never have afforded a pram, bouncer steriliser and the like!

Secondly A car boot sale I got my silver cross Pop for £7.50 and I LOVE it! It just needed a good wash and it was like new!
