I can't believe the stupid anaesthetist was telling you the size of the needles he was using - surely he will have dealt with people with needle phobias before?! :x Flipping idiot! I really feel for you as I really hate needles too.

How's Abbie doing today? x

That brought tears to my eyes reading that - the fact that you were so long in labour before they were born by emergency c-section. Glad Neil made it in time too. Well done Fiona!

aww it brought tears to my eyes. What a bleeping idiot that guy, taking about needles. I know where he should have a needle up.
I was also in labour for over 36 hours with my older son before they did an emergency c-section, and I was so scared and tired by then.

Thanks everyone. Seems I like long labours - was 25 hours with Ella before had to get forceps :lol:
Abbie doing much better today. Urine sample showed almost normal levels of white cells :) but we are waiting on the urine cultures returning ( they take 48 hours so due back Thursday about tea time) Hopefully if the cultures bring the expected clear results the next step is home :) So all being well she will be with us on Friday 8)

Ah that's great to hear, hope the cultures come back clear tomorrow so you can have your three girls at home with you :D

And poor you with your long labours, I don't know how you keep going for that long! I'm praying for another 7.5 hours next time :lol:
