Well its took 2 years but ive finally got a date for Ryan to go in and have plates put in his foot to straighten it and his calf muscle lengthened so she can put his heal to the floor.

He goes in the 5th May, the op will take about 3hrs but the recovery is 6months  including extensive physio rehabilitation :( but its for the best !

He will be able to walk with minimal pain and wear shoes that dont rub due to his awkward foo shape.

I just have to keep telling myself its for the best.

x

The thought of 6 months must be so scary for him and you hey, I'm sure it will go quickly though and is really such a tiny portion of his life.

 At his comments!!

Oh dear    Surely catheter will be put in while he asleep during op - and to remove it is just a pull out
It's be fine tell him - it might be nice looking female nurse 8)
