Just had my blood results back and it's showing up I'm not immune to rubella, doctor said iv to stay away from people with colds (Lacey and oh have colds just now, so I can't) When pregnant with Lacey my results said I wasn't immune to rubella aswell, I had a rubella booster the day I left hospital with Lacey, so don't understand how Im not immune now, it's only been 2 and a half years. Anybody else had this?xxx
Yes, but slightly different. In my first pregnancy I was immune, the second time I wasn't. Then I got the injection (I think) after he was born and my immunity lasted for my next two pregnancies. Try not to worry, chances are you won't come into contact with a rubella carrying person.
