The last few days my nipples have been really sore - to the point where wearing a bra is a bit painful - what could this be?? I have changed my contraception to cetraben (sp) pill - could it be that?? a side effect is sore breasts but its not the whole breast just the nipple??!! :scratch:

Sounds like it could be the change in contraception? When I first got the implant put in, my boobs were sore and then like you the pain. I googled it and apparently can happen, due to fluctuations in the hormone levels and the change in them.

oh ok, i will give it a bit longer before I ring the nurse then, no lumps - I did check that LOL just incase!

I used get very sore nipples when I was breast feeding, to the point as well where I couldn't wear a bra as it was painful. Used cream called calamine cream, it really eased the discomfort and had a lovely cooling effect!
