This may sound really silly and the few people I have mentioned it to have said I should think myself lucky ! My beautiful daughter was born in March after a very speedy labour and birth.

My waters broke at 3:05am, my contractions started within mins and at 5:20am Robyn was born. Only just making it to the hospital in time !

There wasnt any time for anything, gave birth in my clothes and was only in the delivery room for 5mins. I really wanted a home birth but was advised against it. I just wish I spent 20 more mins at home cause then I would of had a home birth lol

But when I tell people how I feel they say im lucky but I really do feel cheated and I know it cant be helped but why do I feel like this ? Anyone else felt like this before ?

My son was born in March also and I have to say I wish I had a quicker and easier labour (and more pain relief as the worst parts went on so long), but saying that it could have been much worse and I'm grateful that I had good midwife attention and that I was able to push him out without any assistance.

But you can't help the way you feel, just try to think that your baby was healthy at the end of it, no matter what the labour and birth was like and that's all that matters really

I wish!
25 + hours with my first Ella, and then this March was 27 hours in labour with the twins before they finally decided upon an emergency c section. Oh and 2.5 hours being stitched up after giving birth to Ella. 2 hours sounds heavenly to me
xx

My longest labour was 4 hours, my shortest 1 1/2. I certainly don't feel cheated at the 1 1/2 hour labour, it was the worst pain wise and the only one I was screaming for an epidural (was too far gone for that )

I went 24+ hours with Lewis, was exhausting! Think it took me longer to recover from the sleep deprivation than it did the stitches lol

You cant help the way you feel though, some people want a nice full experience of labour, others dont I think its just a personal preference.
