Again I know it has to be there, but I don't need reminding of cancer every time my mouse scroll over it by accident and brings it out across the page. I've had enough personal experience of cancer to last a lifetime without being reminded there still isn't a cure. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

ok moan over!

I do understand the need for ads but TBW was pretty much the only place I could go without constantly being reminded that I've had cancer and it could come back (now that it seems constantly to be in the papers, on the news and in most programmes and even Mistresses had a cancer plotline)

We noticed that too when my mum had her first diagnosis in 2004. It was always there in the papers and the plot lines it's just that we never really noticed them. But as you said now there never seems to be a day go by without it hitting you in the face somewhere.

If you google adblock plus, you can download it to stop seeing pop up adverts and stuff on websites (sorry Kathryn!) x

I did think it was me to begin with but then a friend pointed out that one of the national newspapers had suddenly increased its coverage, especially of breast cancer, and then I saw an article from one of its journos about...you guessed it...her breast cancer, which probably explains the extra interest.
