Was reading a magazine today about someone who was pregnant, and in the article she was going on about how a spiritual thing being pregnant was how everyone commented about her glow and all that kind of stuff. Was just wondering, was i the only one who doesnt actually enjoy being pregnant due to all the other stuff??? (loved feeling my babies move and seeing scans and i love my children dearly dont get me wrong). I had at least 8 big bleeds each pregnancy not counting the vomiting, getting hospitalised due to bowel cramps, piles and not wanting sex and spd both times, not to mention the strech marks.Cant be the only one surely??
I was sick constantly for at least 6 monts when pregnant. I had: SPD, (although I found that out afterwards!), sciatica, a back that was so painful it never recovered, I STILL have coccyx pains when sitting for long periods of time, I had boobs like rocks that were sore to touch and never seemed to want to stop growing, a baby that continuously kicked me that made concentrating on ANYTHING extremely difficult, pain with every movement irrespective of the size of it, 9 months of sleeping difficulties, extreme exhaustion, an enormous bump and an extra 2 1/5 stones of bulk to carry on my enormously swollen ankles and tree trunks that were a sorry excuse for legs. Even putting on my shoes became so difficult I may has well have been painting the Eiffel Tower! The only thing I enjoyed about labour (apart from meeting Oscar of course), was knowing that it was an end to the misery of feeling like a beached whale!
So in answer to your question: NO!!!! You are absolutely NOT the only one who hated being pregnant!
