Where has the time gone????
Well the wee souls are loaded with the cold just now - took them to Drs on Monday as felt their chest were a little crackly. Katie was jumping about mad and wee Abbie was feeling very sorry for herself. Believe it or not Katie has much more of a chest infection than Abbie
Anyhoo, both girls doing well. Both can sit up on their own, although Abbie far too impatient to move, so only sits for a second before she's off. Frustrations are running high with them both, as they are desperate to move on their own. Both are lifting their bums and almost getting into the crawling position - wont be long They can both roll over - Abbie back to front only and gets angry when she gets stuck. Katie is too damn lazy to bother although can roll both ways Katie would rather "chat" to you. Hmmm wonder who she gets that from
They both love their grub - although not so keen on bananas yet - grrrrrrr I love fruit as well.
All the problems of being premature have sorted themselves out - and are working to their actual age as apposed to corrected age. Dreading next check up at hospital cos I am letting them work at their actual age when I should be working at their corrected age. My answer - well they are a genus then Ok they dont meet every milestone for their age, but what child does????

fed at 9pm and sleep right through till about half 7! Ok they wake up during the night and chat to us through the monitor, or Abbie will roll over and get stuck so screams to be rescued. But they are sleeping 10 or so hours straight

Nice to hear how your twins are coming on.
Jack can roll from back to front but still hasn't figured out how to roll back and it's been a few weeks. He can sit up for a half a minute or so but then goes to one side or forwards.
He's a bit slower than the average with his gross motor skills but really good with fine motor skills, but saying that he's loved jumping for months but has now stopped jumping in his Jumpersoo for reasons unbeknown to me. Will still jump in door bouncer or on me though.
He's still doing well with food and eats everything I give him but still only has around 18-20oz a day now so when I put him on 3 meals soon I don't know how much he will have then though I know I'm supposed to drop milk feeds soon aren't they supposed to have 20oz a day min until 1? God knows how I'm gonna keep him doing that lol
He sleeps from around 7.30 til between 6 and 7 so can't complain either

Jack sounds like he is doing well too Sarah. Dont worry about his gross motor, Ella is almost 3 and still can hardly jump, never mind hop or skip. She still runs with a waddle (a bit stiffy just like her mummy teehee)
Twins are on 3 feeds a day, and still 4 x9ozs of formula a day. Think this is what is making Abbie sick though, cos she never seems to know when she is full. We starting to drop them to 3x9oz a day from today - giving them just water at 4pm feed. Wish me luck But then again they scoffed a full jar each at lunch time, when normally they only take half a jar Wee munchers - taking after Ella then by the sounds of it teehee.
They still love their jumparoo, and are desperate to get moving - in fact getting very frustrated by the fact they cant. Hospital in a fortnight for premies and not looking forward to it but cant tie them down and stop them achieving just cos they were early. Besides they see Ella jumping about and want to chase her.
Anyone know any cheep deals on reins? teehee

Thanks, he's gradually sitting up for longer and longer. Has the 8 month development check in a couple of weeks.
How much water do your little ones drink in the day? At the mo I can only get Jack to drink a max of half a beaker. He's been a bit constipated so trying to get him to drink a bit more.
How long do they sleep in they day? Jack currently has about 3 hours over two naps. He used to have 3 hours over 4 naps as he could only do 45 mins at a time but luckily now does 1.5 hrs at a time

At the moment we still on 3 bottles of formula - 7.30am, 4.00pm and 8.30pm. They get water at lunch time and Katie drinks almost nothing. Abbie drinks slightly more. I'm going to start giving them diluting juice to keep fluids up.
During the day their naps are very erratic. They have almost dropped all their naps, and catnap all the time. They tend to sleep for half an hour about 8.30 am after their feed. Then another wee half hour (if I am lucky) about 11am, about 1 hour at 1pm ( sometimes a lot less and then scream all afternoon cos they are so exhausted but will not sleep for anything argh!) again another half or hour so about 5pm, and finally about an hour at 7ish. They wake up for final feed then straight back down. It is a nightmare at the mo with the exhaustion
