hi everybody, this is my first post and my final attempt for advice before a trip to the doctors me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for 4years, yes 4 whole years! I was due on my period 6days ago but 3days ago i had very very light brown spots which iv read could implantation bleeding it has been like that for 3 days meaning my real period is a week late, but today its more and not so brown anymore, still ALOT lighter than my normal period and no clots. sorry for the details i just really hoped i was pregnant but now today has put the usual monthly disappointment back into my mind! If anyone has any advice or tips for me personally i would very much appreciate them as im starting to think nature is against us or even me as my boyfriend has a 7year old child so surely its got to be me thanks for any advice and GOOD LUCK to everyone TTC xxx

Welcome to the site. Good luck trying to get the result you want, have you had any medical help yet? You don't mention being given any tablets or anything to help you, speak to your doctor, or a fertility doctor, maybe they could prescribe you something.

I have 2 friends who had to take Clomid to get pregnant. It stimulates the egg Production. It could be something as simple as that that you need.

Hiya, one of the best things that I have found (friends have used) is ovulations sticks, you wee on one a day and they show up with 2 lines (like preggers test) when you are ovulating and this is obviously the best time to do the deed. It is quite hard to tell when you are ovulating & sometimes it isnt in the middle of your period as thought. You can buy them really cheap on the internet. I would def say that a trip to the Dr is due though, they can do some simple blood tests to check that you are ovulating and that every thing is normal. Hope this helps and masses and masses of good luck to you x

Hiya and welcome to the site :D

I cant really add anymore to what the others have said, but If your worried or confused then its probably better going to see a doctor who might be able to put your mind at rest and help you.

Good luck :)

I agree with what everyone has posted.

People usually say that you get pregnant when you least expect it. You can continue to conceive naturally. However I think it's important to check your health in general. And, also be aware of all the options available (as back up).

I hope like your friend you conceive soon. I wish you all the best. Please keep us updated.

Hi guys i'm also new to this web.site. I too had many years of trying to conceive. I bit the bullet and went to the doctors to start the ball rolling. I didn't realise how many tests we would had to go thr :thumleft: :thumleft: ough to find out what / if any problems we may have. As we all kno, waiting for the nhs can take a time. So don't delay because believe me your not alone. To give you all hope we had to go down the ivf route. Stressfull, emotional and costly BUT so worth it! We beat the odds and have two special treasures and also have another miracle (beating the 1% natural conception we were given). I wish you all the success in the world.
