Win Bio-Oil – #MySkinStory

To celebrate the launch of Bio-Oil’s Skin Stories campaign, we’re giving 5 of you the chance to win a bottle of Bio-Oil!

As a nation we are so self-conscious about skin issues like scars and stretch marks, that we keep them bottled up and don’t even discuss them with our closest friends and family. So, to help women feel more confident about their skin, Bio-Oil is running a campaign to address these issues by encouraging you to share your Skin Stories on Facebook and Twitter. For every story shared, Bio-Oil will donate £1 to one of three charities – the British Skin Foundation, cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better and the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust, who provide funding for midwifery education, practice and research.

The Baby Show at The NEC 2011

If you’ve never been to a Baby Show, then you are missing a treat!
The Baby Show with Fisher-Price returns to Birmingham’s NEC from the 20th to the 22nd of May

You can look at and buy just about everything you’ll need for your baby or you can just window shop and pick up all manner of freebies. Some people go well prepared and believe it or not, trundle wheely bags around to transport all their goodies. We’ve been to The Baby Shows a fair few times now – sometimes as visitors and on other occasions we’ve been exhibitors. They are good fun although I would say that you should definitely wear flat shoes and expect to be very tired after a full day’s traipsing around the various stands – particularly if you are pregnant.

Most of the baby brands we mums love can be seen at The Baby Show and there are always ‘experts’ on hand with advice and tips. Clare Byam-Cook and Annabel Karmel will be there amongst others this time and even Next will be there offering maternity wear consultations.
