UK'S Best Celebrity Parents
GORDON AND TANA RAMSAY ARE UK’S BEST CELEBRITY PARENTSFoul-mouthed star of The F-Word, Gordon Ramsay and his glamorous wife Tana have been named as the UK’s best parents, according to a nationwide research project on modern day family values by popular digital pre-school TV channel Nick Jr.
The Ramsays easily beat their close pals Victoria and David Beckham to the top spot with twice as many votes and even left Richard and Judy trailing in 2nd place with just 11% of votes. Surprisingly, UNICEF ambassador and mum of four Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt failed to impress respondents, gaining a tiny 3.5% whilst The Osbournes limped in last with just 1.3% of the nation’s votes.

Parents of four children, including a set of twins, Gordon and Tana have been married for 11 years and are as famous for how their family unit works as they are for Gordon’s expletive-laden tirades. Gordon and Tana Ramsey’s traditional set up clearly appeals to modern parents, with around 1 in 6 mums and dads choosing The Ramsays over other celebrity parents.
Gordon and Tana fought off stiff competition from a diverse range of famous parents including Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Jordan and Peter Andre and even new Prime Minister and wife, Gordon and Sarah Brown, to come top of the choice of best parents.
“Despite the strong language and outspoken views that Gordon is famous for, he and Tana are also well known for being focused on their family and this could well be what put them ahead of other celebrity parents in our survey.” says Howard Litton, Managing Director of Nickelodeon UK.
The results for best parents, as voted by the British public, were as follows:

2nd Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan
3rd Jordan and Peter Andre
4th Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin
5th David and Victoria Beckham
6th Gordon and Sarah Brown
7th Tony and Cherie Blair
8th Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
9th Charles and Camilla
10th Madonna and Guy Ritchie
11th Ozzy and Sharon Osbournes
