Throughout her pregnancy Stephanie taught and performed as a belly dancer and became increasingly interested in the links between belly dance, pregnancy and birth. There are proven physical and emotional benefits to be gained for pregnant women in our culture through the dance; it has been used as a preparation for pregnancy and birth in the Middle East for generations which inspired her to produce this DVD.

The aim of the DVD is to teach women to accept and enjoy their changing shape and carry themselves and their baby with confidence and dignity. Belly dance is an ideal for pregnant ladies, it's a low impact form of exercise which strengthens the abdominal and the pelvic floor muscles, it helps with back pain by teaching ladies to

hug their baby into them. Practising “Belly Dance 4 Bumps” will help you feel positive and more accepting of your changing shape as well as providing a useful aid to relaxation; enhancing your connection with your baby.

Stephanie has worked in the dance and fitness interest for over 16 years. Her interest in belly dance began when she took a cabaret act to Turkey and Egypt and saw the dancing in it's native land. "I was hooked and ended up staying for a couple of years to learn about Arabic dancing" said Stephanie.
