Jellyfish only sting when they come into direct contact with humans and the toxins which are found in the end of their tentacles can be a strong irritant to human skin. In most cases, however, the poison will only cause injury to the part of skin that has been stung.
Cider vinegar works particularly well on jellyfish stings, believe it or not! Vinegar is a natural anti-inflammatory that has long been known to help fight bacteria and infection and is the ultimate essential natural remedy for neutralizing the venom and inactivating any fragments of tentacles left in the skin.
