London parents looking for a local and experienced babysitter or nanny can relax at the launch of a new online matchmaking service findababysitter.com. The website enables parents to search through a catalogue of trustworthy babysitters or nannies local to their own home, and for a one of cost of just £3 per search.
There are already over 1,000 qualified babysitters and nannies already registered with the site within London, each with a minimum one year’s experience of working with children. Typical rates of pay vary from £6-£10 per hour, depending on age, experience and qualifications, and most are available at short notice - perfect for those last minute invitations or Christmas parties.

Once in touch with a local babysitter or nanny, families are under no obligation to return to Findababysitter.com for repeat work as there are no contracts or agency fees to sign up to. In fact, families, babysitters and nannies are encouraged to build their own relationships.

All babysitters are able to provide references from parents they have worked in the past. The more qualified and experienced nannies are also able to provide evidence of their childcare qualifications.
