It all began with a two-year old girl who couldn't stop scratching herself. Sandra was just one of many millions of children suffering from eczema and severe allergies.
The Green People Company was formed as a direct result of Charlotte Charlotte Vøhtz's experiences in finding an effective treatment for her daughter Sandra. Taking a herbal cleansing tonic - Hawthorn & Artichoke Formula from a leading international herbalist, supplementing with Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids, and the elimination of chemical based products in our home her allergies were cleared up. "From that moment, I realised that we all are children of the chemical age and that man-made chemicals found everywhere, combined with changing dietary habits, profoundly affect us all."
With a nursing background, knowledge of herbal medicine, and more than 11 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry, Charlotte decided to take action.
Intensive product development took place from December 1995 to April 1997. The Green People Company Ltd. launched their first organic health and beauty products into UK health stores in August 1997.
Continued development since that time has resulted in the present Green People range which now numbers over 100 products. As part of that expansion and development, they are now producing products aimed at specific groups and special needs.
