Summer Of Fun For Children And Families At Conkers
Seven weeks of indoor and outdoor family activities, experiences and entertainment from 15 July to 3 September 2017

There will be summer holiday adventures galore at CONKERS this year with a new programme of activities, experiences and entertainment available for families from 15 July to 3 September 2017.

CONKERS, the award-winning visitor attraction at the heart of The National Forest, will be treating visitors to a range of events, live shows, performances and activities this summer. Highlights include amazing acrobatic show, bubble pop, Punch & Judy, clown shows, Lollipop ponies, Sublime Science, animal encounters, storytelling, and Ranger activities such as survival training, bush craft, pond dipping, construction derby and sensory art.

The children’s favourite, Sooty and his friends will be bringing their show to CONKERS on 21 August. There is also 120 acres to explore including indoor and outdoor play, high and low ropes with a climbing wall, and the new 4D cinema.

Chris Sturdy, Regional Operations Manager at CONKERS said: “The summer holidays are coming and we’re planning a bumper crop of fun-filled activities at CONKERS for families, throughout the seven weeks. Whatever the weather, there will be plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained.”

CONKERS is the award-winning attraction at the heart of the National Forest, based near Moira in Leicestershire. It offers a unique mix of indoor and outdoor experiences across 120 acres of maturing woodlands, lakes, ponds, play areas and an 18-stage assault course challenge. Indoors, a British Woodland has over 100 indoor interactive exhibits in four seasonal zones or visitors can experience the Enchanted Forest, climbing through the treetops and along rope walkways.
