TV personality Kim Woodburn, star of the show 'How Clean Is Your House?' is currently under investigation by police following her admission that she buried her stillborn baby in a park. She revealed the startling fact in her new autobiography Unbeaten, which was serialised in some newspapers last week.
The cleaner said that she gave birth to a baby four months prematurely, and admitted burying the child herself in a local park. 'I put the baby on the ground and then knelt down and started digging with the spoon,' Kim writes in her book. 'As I gouged the earth, tears streamed down my face. I brushed them away with my dirty hands. When I felt I had dug down deep enough, I lowered my precious little boy into the hole and wrapped the towel around him before slowly replacing the earth. When the job was done, I still couldn 't leave.'
Merseyside police confirmed that they had launched an investigation: 'We are assessing the article and will decide what action is necessary in due course.'
