How long does a breastfeed last?

I have not mentioned how long a feed should take because there is no real answer.

However, once your feeding is established, it can be a lot quicker to breastfeed than bottlefeed. This will vary everyday, so I don 't want you to worry about times or clock-watching.

The simple answer is to feed your baby whenever he demands it and let him take as long as he needs. This will settle into a pattern that changes with the growing needs of your baby. Be led by him and you can't go far wrong.
