My baby seems to want to feed all the time. Does this mean I don 't have enough milk?

Every few days or even weeks, you will notice that you seem to be feeding more often.

This is perfectly normal and usually coincides with a growth spurt of your baby. In order for the breasts to increase their supply, to keep up with your babys growing demands, they need more stimulation. This is what your baby's extra feeds are telling your breasts. It does not mean that your milk supply is running out, or that you should supplement with formula. Listen to your baby's wishes and within 24-48 hours things will have settled down again and you will be producing the required amount of milk for your baby.
