We all know that some celebrities like to choose weird and wonderful baby names. So it was with baited breath that we awaited the big announcement from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.
It turns out that they have decided to call their baby girl Monroe and her twin brother will be a slightly more unusual, Moroccan Scott.
Apparently the couple's daughter won't have a middle name as Mariah herself hasn't got one. The inspiration for the baby girl's name comes from Marilyn Monroe, who Mariah is a massive fan of. So far, so good then.....
Scott is Nick's middle name, but it is also his grandmother's maiden name and so is apt enough. 'Moroccan' though is where it all gets a bit hazy. The top floor of Mariah's apartment in New York, is decorated in a Moroccan style and as the couple like it so much, they thought they may as well call their son after it.
It's all very luvvy, isn't it?
