The search for the 2010 Most Valued Parent aka M.V.P comes following research of 3,000 mums stating that 2 in 5 are looking forward to the summer of football as a key time to spend with family. With a third of households preparing to spend extra this summer on the football event, Littlewoods.com is championing the mums who make everyday efforts and sacrifices to ensure their kids enjoy the beautiful game.
Mum of former England star, Jamie Redknapp and wife of Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp, Sandra says, "Football has always been very much at the heart of my family life and I can really relate to the challenges mums face in staging a summer of football fever". Natasha Hamilton adds, "I know just how hard it can be to juggle a busy family life but I'm really looking forward to spending a great time together as a family.
