Top Ten Tips For Travelling With Baby
The most important thing you can do when travelling with a baby, believe it or not, is to stay calm and relaxed.

Your baby is far less likely to get upset if the people around him remain relaxed about everything. Obviously, sometimes, this is easier said than done but it's worth bearing in mind.

1. Try to stick to baby's normal meal and nap routine

2. Book self-catering accommodation. Self catering is much more flexible and has better washing facilities too.

3. If you're still at the sterilising stage, microwave steriliser bags are fantastic. Taking your own steriliser is really impractical.

4. Always carry wet wipes with you all the time although a damp flannel in a plastic sandwich bag is just as good and cheaper!

5. Borrow rather than buy travel cot/lightweight buggy etc

6. Use disposable nappies while on holidays even if you usually use reusable nappies. Disposable will definitely be easier while you're away.

7. Prepare a little bag with different toys/rattles/teethers. Remember - variety is the spice of life.

8. Always take spare clothes and nappies - you never know if flights are going to be delayed or if you're going to be stuck in a traffic jam for ages!

9. Take a change of top for yourself too as you don't want to walk around covered in baby sick or worse!

10. Make sure you have plenty of spare plastic carrier bags for 'dirty' clothes.
