Labour apparently has a lead in the polls... among pregnant women and new mums. Sarah Brown is getting 'the vote' big-time and could help secure the vote of young families at the next election. In a recent poll by Wilkinet of 324 mums and pregnant women, 43% said they would vote Labour at the next election with 33% Conservative and 15% Liberal Democrat. Sarah Brown has become increasingly popular amongst mums and in the poll gained 60% of the vote compared to Samantha Cameron’s 33%.
Apparently, Denise Van Outen has been dropped from Andrew Lloyd Webber's new BBC talent show Over The Rainbow 'for being 6 months pregnant'. Denise was told just days before the filming was due to start and will be replaced on the panel by Charlotte Church.

Boris Becker has become a Dad again at 42! His 33 year old wife Sharlely 'Lilly' Kerssenberg gave birth to a healthy baby boy in London. The German tennis star said they had chosen the name Amadeus Benedict Edley Luis Becker for his fourth child. Boris already has sons Noah, 16, and Elias, 10, from his previous marriage to Barbara Feltus and a nine-year-old daughter Anna, after a 'fling' with Russian-born model Angela Ermakowa in a London restaurant.
Pomegranates are the new super-fruit! It seems that the awkward-to-eat hymble pomegranates could help speed up childbirth - and may reduce the number of emergency Caesarean sections carried out as a result of long labour. Every year, around 155,000, that's 25% of all, babies born in England are delivered by Caesarean and more than half of them are emergencies caused by problems during labour. The research team from Liverpool hope that the pomegranate- seed extract could help reduce the number of Caesareans.

Pregnancy 'baby brain' is a myth - it's official. So no more excuses ladies! Australian researchers have said that expectant mums must stop blaming their bump for memory lapses.
