Bournemouth will be a great place to go for a Family Holiday this summer. The latest, long-range weather forecast for Britain from Met Office is predicting a heat-wave. Bournemouth already gets some of the best British weather and is certainly one of the leading British seaside destinations.
The Met Office's chief meteorologist, Ewen McCallum, said that June through to August would “see prolonged spells of hot weather”. Temperatures could top 30 Celsius or 86 Fahrenheit on occasions.
Mark Smith, Director of Bournemouth Tourism said; “The positive weather results from the Met Office are another compelling reason to come on holiday in Bournemouth as the British summer is going to be a great one. Already we have enjoyed the boost of a busy Easter weekend and statistics are showing people are looking to holiday in British seaside resorts this summer.”
Bournemouth has seven miles of award-winning Blue Flag beaches, some gorgeous, picturesque landscaped gardens, renovated landmark Piers, many high-quality hotels, and a wide range of watersports facilities.
