Sing and Sign

Baby signing offers the wonderful gift of being able to communicate with your baby before speech.
Sing and Sign is Britain's original, longest running and best loved baby signing programme. Sing and Sign has already taught baby signing to thousands of families across the UK and seen a huge surge in the number of parents who are attracted by the obvious benefits of understanding their baby better.

Sing and Sign's unique approach combines nursery rhymes, action songs and musical activities, teaching signs and stimulating language development in a fun way! Learning a few simple signs to use with your baby has many benefits, greatly reducing frustration and encouraging speech development. The songs are written specifically with a baby's world in mind so that they learn to enjoy signs that are relevant to their day-to-day lives such as mealtimes, bedtime and going to the park. Musician and mother Sasha Felix originally devised the Sing and Sign programme with the help of speech and language therapists.
Sasha says "Parenting can be really hard work, especially if your baby is not always making himself (or herself) clearly understood! Baby signing is a loving and natural approach and Sing and Sign makes it so easy to learn. It really does help babies' communication and of course speech development is given a real boost too!"

With Sing and Sign you can learn with your baby in one of our weekly groups - there are currently over 350 Sing and Sign classes running nationwide - or at home with our colourful action song DVDs, which babies love to watch again and again!
