Over 100 companies will get together at Scotland’s biggest baby event, The Scottish Baby Show They will be presenting everything needed by parents of babies and toddlers up to the age of four, as well as parents-to-be.
The show, Scotland’s only event dedicated to pregnancy, birth, baby and beyond, is at the SECC, Glasgow from 24 – 26 April 2009.
Visitors to the show can check out a fantastic choice of products and services from car seats to childcare, prams to photography, maternity wear to nappies. Nursery Nurse, Nanny and Mum of two Donna Barrowman specialises in helping parents teach their babies/children to sleep, using behaviour modification techniques. Donna offers various services from one off telephone consultations to home visits, and provides follow up support for parents. There will be two "Supermammy" talks each day, concentrating on issues surrounding sleep problems, and tips to help new mothers develop good sleeping patterns.
Dr Titzer
Dr. Titzer has become a recognizable expert in the area of infant learning and his work has been published in scientific journals -- including the prestigious Psychological Review. Titzer has given talks about early learning on four continents speaking with thousands of parents around the world. He will demonstrate fun learning activities which parents can do with infants and toddlers to stimulate brain development.
British Red Cross
Would you know what to do if your baby was unconscious and not breathing? The British Red Cross will be doing several demonstrations of baby & toddler first aid at the show.

Activities in the crèche will include fun arts and crafts sessions, role play, music and dance and lots of exciting, educational toys and resources. The crèche will cater for children aged from 0 to 5 years and will be staffed by qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses. Leave your child playing happily with Bertram while you enjoy the many exciting exhibits at the show.
