The premature baby son of Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has tragically died only minutes after his birth.
Marsh, 32, who plays barmaid Michelle Connor in the soap, gave birth to Archie Jay Lomas 18 weeks early.
In a statement, Marsh said: "Archie is our beautiful angel and we will miss him so much. Thank you all for your support."
The former Hear'Say singer was due to take maternity leave from Coronation Street in the summer.
Kym announced the end of her marriage to former EastEnders actor Jack Ryder last March and subsequently confirmed her relationship with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas who plays Warren Fox in the Channel 4 soap.
