This year to mark World Book Day on Thursday 5 March, Pan Macmillan, together with TheBabyWebsite, are giving away 10 sets of books by the acclaimed children’s writer Julia Donaldson.
From World Book Day onwards children will be able to exchange their £1 book vouchers, handed out by their schools, for Julia’s song book The Tyrannosaurus Drip Song. This Jurassic adventure tells the story a timid little duckbill dinosaur who hatches out in a T.Rex nest and feels decidedly out of place! He wants a quiet life, munching on waterweed, but his grisly big sisters are about to discover that Drip is braver than he looks..
However, Pan Macmillan is now offering 10 lucky members the chance to win copies of The Tyrannosaurus Drip Song along with a selection of other Julia Donaldson books, including Rosie’s Hat, The Princess and the Wizard, and a special 10th anniversary edition of acclaimed bestseller The Gruffalo.
Macmillan Children’s Books publishes over 400 books a year for all age groups and is the publisher of international bestselling titles such as The Gruffalo, which is currently enjoying its 10th Birthday. First published in 1999, this year also sees the Gruffalo made into
an animated TV adaptation and a range of stunning merchandising.
