With more and more parents choosing to name their babies after celebrities, there have been a few changes in the most popular baby names Top 100 Chart for 2008!! In 2008 parents across Britain chose to change the top girl's baby name to Olivia but Jack once again remains the top name for boys.
The most popular boy's name has remained the same for 14 years, Olivia knocked Grace off the top of the girl's list.
Apparently celebrities were a key influence, with Ruby, the name of Charlotte Church's daughter, coming in second amongst the 380,000 parents surveyed. The name Zac, after the enormously-popular Zac Efron in High School Musical, saw an increase too.
The name Amy fell three places to 23rd, presumably because Amy Winehouse had such an awful year while footballer Theo Walcott saw the name Theo go up 12 places to 58th.TOP BOYS/GIRLS NAMES Jack/Olivia
