Charlotte Church Suffers Constant Pregnancy Pain

TV presenter and singing sensation, Charlotte Church is suffering from pelvic separation – a condition which causes pain and inflammation in the pelvic area for pregnant ladies.

The Welsh mum-to-be has symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD). This condition is caused when one side of the pelvis moves more than the other, usually when a pregnant woman is walking.

22 year old Charlotte is becoming increasingly annoyed by comments about her weight. Claims that she is ‘fat’ and ‘depressed’ are far from true says her mum, Maria, 43.

During her first pregnancy with Ruby, Charlotte apparently put on four stone. But Maria told Reveal magazine:

‘Charl says she's much happier with her second pregnancy because she has put on half the weight she did with Ruby. She looks good and she loves the way she looks. And so does Gav. I am sick to death about reading about her weight. It’s something that’s never bothered her. She’s not obsessed with her size. The most important thing to her is to stay fit and healthy for the baby – not getting into a size 8.’

And Maria vehemently denied that Charlotte is depressed. ‘She is probably the least depressed person I know. Charlotte has told me, ‘I love my life. My family is all that matters’. I get fed up with the nonsense and lies, and so does she. Charl and Gav have got everything they want, and those who know them know that.’

Charlotte's partner is rugby hunk Gavin Henson.
