Vasectomy, also known as 'the snip', is a permanent form of contraception for men and is more than 99% effectiveStatistics show that only about one in every 2,000 operations fail so it's very effective.
Many men worry about that having a vasectomy will change their sex life, but extensive research over many years has found that a vasectomy has no effect on sex drive or the enjoyment of sex. It will also have no effect on an erection or the ability to ejaculate.

The only difference after a vasectomy, is that sperm, which will still be made in the testes, will be unable to reach its destination because the tube has been cut. The sperm are re-absorbed by your body with no ill effects – the same as they would be if you didn’t have sex or ejaculate for a long time. |
