The oldest woman in the world to give birth has proudly shown off her son to the world but not his twin sister!
Omkari Panwar who is 70 and her 77 year old husband, mortgaged their land and then took out a £4,400 loan for IVF in order to produce a male heir!
The little boy arrived safely but unfortunaetely for the couple was accompanied by a sister to add to the couple's two adult daughters.
Mrs. Panwar said; "We paid all this money to the doctors for a son but now we have the extra burden of another daughter as well."
Her husband however insists it was all worthwhile as he claims to have been a 'laughing stock' in his village as he didn't have a son to carry on the family name.
He said; " I've finally got what I wanted and I can die a happy man now....... My wife will look after the babies when I am gone and after she dies my other daughters will care for them."
Boys are cherished in India because daughters aren't allowed to in herit property but leave to marry and become part of their new husband's property.
