62% Of Working Mums Want Better Family Life
Nearly two-thirds of working mothers with young children would like to give up their job to care for their family.

A new report claims that more than 80 per cent of parents said they were 'physically worn out', while 68 per cent felt 'exhausted' and ' emotionally drained'.

Eighty per cent of mothers surveyed said they had very little 'me-time' or less than an hour a day to themselves while 57 per cent of parents felt there was 'not enough time in the day for normal family life'.

Mums are feeling increasingly stressed and are finding it difficult to balance the twin pressures of home and work. Some 62% of mums who work full or part-time and have children under seven would like to leave their jobs, the survey found.

The research was carried out on 2,000 parents with children aged ten or younger.

Life coach, Suzy Greaves, said: 'We feel guilty about everything - the amount of time we spend at work, the lack of time we have to play with our children and the amount of time our kids spend in childcare.'
