 Former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite has given birth to her first baby - a girl called Florence Elsie Ellis. The 37-year-old star married actor Tom Ellis in June 2006.
Singer Britney Spears' actress sister, Jamie Lynn has given birth to a baby girl in a Mississippi hospital. The 17-year-old star of Nickelodeon TV comedy show Zoey 101 has named the child Maddie Briann, according to the Associated Press news agency. She announced her engagement to 19-year-old construction worker Casey Aldridge in March. In a statement Nickelodeon said: "We wish her and her family well."
Angelina Jolie says being pregnant is "great for the sex life". The actress, who is expecting twins with partner Brad Pitt, says the couple have become "a lot more creative" in bed since she gained her baby bump. "As a woman you're just so round and full," she told Entertainment Weekly magazine in the US, "so you have fun". The couple already have four children, three of whom were adopted. Jolie, 33, says that she and Pitt "really don't know" how they will cope with six.
Officials in Massachusetts are investigating how 17 teenage girls from the same school have become pregnant. The number is four times as high as the year before. There are reports that all the girls, who are under 16, entered into a pact to have their babies together. The girls and their families have so far made no comment. Officials are also investigating the ages of the fathers. Some are believed to be in their twenties and could face the possibility of being charged with having sex with minors.

Womb surgery saves baby's leg. Australian surgeons saved the leg of an unborn baby by operating when her mother was just 22 weeks pregnant. The surgery was carried out after the foetus developed a rare condition in which stray bands of tissue wrap around limbs and cut off blood flow. Lasers were used to cut away the tissue from the left leg, but left the right leg as the bands were too deeply embedded. The baby girl, called Leah, is now doing well after plastic surgery and doctors hope she will eventually be able to walk on both feet.
