Breastfeeding mums in the UK want to wear sexy lingerie go swimming and put on cool dresses this summer.
A recent survey conducted by LilyPadz non-absorbent breast pads asked 50 mums about breast feedings and their fashion gripes!
75% of respondents said they often feel restricted in what they can wear when breastfeeding. The top restrictions being wearing sexy lingerie,bathing suits, summer dresses and fitted tops. 55% of women said they often feel self conscious about leaking under their clothes and 63% hate visible pad rings!
Other comments that were highlighted in the survey is the lack of fashionable clothes targeted at the breastfeeding market especially dresses. One respondent commented ‘the choice for maternity clothes is great with many stores stocking maternity fashions even high st retailers but there’s nothing tailored for breastfeeding that doesn’t look awful’
