Win Abundance Gift Vouchers Founded in 2002, Abundance's philosophy is to source remarkable gifts and home accessories for their customers. Abundance is a family-run gift shop in Fulham, south west London, offering a fabulous array of gifts for the young to the young at heart. Jane Barry started Abundance in October 2002 in Esher, Surrey. She began selling general gifts and toiletries, to begin with. Charlotte, her eldest daughter frequented trade shows with Jane, just to give an extra eye. This mother and daughter team seemed to flourish as the age difference often meant that both women would pick up new products that the other would miss out or simply wouldn’t even contemplate having in the shop. Abundance in Fulham opened in September 2005. Trying to run two shops with two part time staff was taking its toll. In January 2006, Charlotte joined Jane in the business and took on the responsibility of buyer for the Fulham shop, and with the intention of putting Abundance online. After a year of researching e-commerce web designers, Abundance found the company they wanted to build their site. Now www.abundance.co.uk has been launched in conjunction with the shop. Abundance works well as a family business – most of the time Jane and Charlotte bring out the best in each other with regards to the business.
