 After gaining 50lbs during her pregnancy Jennifer Lopez has said that she's proud of her post-pregnancy figure and is not in a hurry to lose her baby weight. Twins Max and Emme were born on on February 22. Jennifer told OK! magazine: "I gained a good amount of weight, which I was focused on because twins can sometimes have a low birth weight. I gained 45-50lbs, a lot for my frame, but for twins it's right on. It's amazing how your stomach goes goes boop and it's this jiggly mass. I even play with my little leftover belly."

The fastest growing group of mothers in England and Wales are women aged 40 or over. Conception rates for women aged 40 or over has increased the most while conception rates for the under-18s dropped. Research has revealed that the conception rate for women aged 40 and over rose by over six per cent between 2005 and 2006 – rising from 11.5 per 1,000 women to 12.2 in 2006. Over that same period the rate at which under-18s conceived in England and Wales fell from 41.4 to 40.7 conceptions per 1,000 girls. Four fifths out of all conceptions result in a birth, the statistics showed – which is no change on previous years.
