Club Javelin will offer an unprecedented range of sailing and watersports activities including daily yacht hire, dinghy sailing, catamarans, windsurfing and kayaking, all accompanied by expert Royal Yacht Association (RYA) tuition courses. Off the water, new tennis courts, mountain biking, a fitness programme and an indulgent new spa, complete with Turkish hammam and infinity plunge pool, will allow guests to be as active or relaxed as they wish.
When it comes to the stylish accommodation, Club Javelin will be finished to a high specification, offering 120 double rooms and spacious suites each with a stunning sea view over Camel Bay. Neutral colour schemes and natural finishes will contrast with splashes of colour and hints of Turkish style via rich carpets and artwork, creating a contemporary look and feel. All rooms will feature a separate living area with plasma screen TV and WiFi for in-room entertainment as well as terraces with comfy sun loungers and shaded areas for time to relax in private.
Club Javelin’s kid’s facilities will make it a great option for families with children of all ages. It will feature first class Kids Clubs, a naturally shaded children’s area in the swimming pool, meal times to suit the little ones, a babysitting service and a multitude of activities on and off the water. As well as the free all-day childcare, Club Javelin will also offer evening crèches on inclusive nights to allow parents more freedom. Aside from the Minnows (4 months - 2 years), all Kid’s Clubs for children age 2 – 17 years are free of charge, with all meals for the under 13’s included in the holiday price.
Food lovers will not be disappointed with the delicious choice of Turkish cuisine available at the two alfresco dining areas, each with retractable roof covers and stunning sea views. Expert chefs will prepare fresh meals daily, presenting a tempting range of dishes to suit all tastes including Turkish delicacies such as vine leaves and stuffed tomatoes, fresh barbecued fish and chicken shish kebab, and delicious baklava pastries. Personal consultations with the chef will allow guests to discuss dietary requirements and, whether a vegetarian, vegan, celiac, other allergy sufferer or diabetic, a menu will be created specially.
A jetty bar promises to become the vibrant heart of the club offering sundowners and light snacks throughout the day and entertainment and fun in the evening. Alternatively, the bright lights of Bodrum are just a short taxi drive away for local restaurants and great shopping.
As well as offering first class facilities, Club Javelin has been built by a local Turkish workforce with the environment front of mind. All trees have been retained, all building material has been reused where possible or raw materials have been sourced locally. The shell of the old hotel has been kept to avoid having to dispose of concrete and solar panels have been installed to heat water at the club.
Flights to Club Javelin will depart on Saturdays from London Gatwick or Manchester (regional options available) and transfer time is approximately one hour from Bodrum airport. Prices will start from £689 per person for seven nights including half board accommodation including afternoon tea and cakes, return flights, all day free Kid’s Clubs for ages 2–17 years, use of Sunsail’s watersports equipment, fitness, mountain biking, tennis, spa and lots more.
