Chocolate Krispie (or Cornflake) Cakes
Ingredients
150g (6 oz) dark chocolate
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
75g (4 oz) cornflakes (or rice crispy cereal)
Instructions
Melt the chocolate in a small bowl with the syrup over a bowl of boiling water. When it’s melted, pour it into another bowl as the first one will be too hot for your child to touch.
Fold the Cornflakes or Rice Krispies into the chocolate mixture until all the flakes are well coated. Now spoon them into paper cases, put the cases onto baking sheets or in bun trays and leave to set in the fridge.
