A new arrival from Bun in the OvenThe new Autumn/Winter collection from on-line maternity specialist Bun in the Oven has now arrived. Featuring beautiful fabrics in a range of vibrant colours, as well as key classic neutral pieces, this range is designed to flatter your bump throughout your pregnancy.
Bun in the Oven was set up by Fiona Lappin in Hong Kong in 2004 in between the births of her two children. She was working as an editor at CNN at the time, but saw a gap in the market and found time to market her first small collection among pregnant expatriates in the region in her spare time. Following the UK launch of the company, Fiona travels between Hong Kong and her home town of Bath to oversee the UK operation.

“I wanted to show off my new shape when I was pregnant but didn’t want to spend a fortune on clothes, and there really wasn’t much available in Hong Kong back then”, explains Fiona. “My hobby became a full time business when I left CNN after my son was born. I work hard to source beautiful fabrics that wear well and feel super soft on the skin. I also make sure each collection offers a good range of fitted and flowing silhouettes to suit all shapes and sizes.”
All trousers come in five sizes ranging from a UK 8 to 16 and tops, skirts and dresses come in three sizes ranging from 8/10 to 14/16. Each design is created with a changing shape in mind, so that it fits from the beginning of a pregnancy right up to the end. The range for summer 2007 was the first collection available in the UK and Europe.
