Nine out of ten parents have shopped online for goods for their baby.
"Parents are more cash rich and time poor than at any other time in history; and so being able to do their shopping online is convenient - saving hours a week"
comments Samantha Mort at Hipp Organic.
47% of parents believe that shopping online saves them one to two hours per week; and 4% save a staggering 5 to 10 hours a week; with convenience being the number one reason for preferring to shop on the internet.
The most common items parents buy online for their baby are toys (20%), clothes (19%) and buggies (10%).
All parents appreciate the minimal effort involved in Cyber Shopping. Having Bulky and heavy items delivered straight to the door saves parents with new babies the hassle of trekking around the shops often with a grizzly, tired baby!
However our desire for technology is making us increasingly anti-social with 20% of respondents saying that they 'd rather shop online than go out shopping with friends; 12% said they 'd rather shop online than speak to their partner; whilst 26% said that they 'd rather shop on the internet than make more babies ...!
